Protein Shakes – Start off with a 100% whey protein supplement. There are a variety of brands and flavors to choose from. You might have to try a few until you find one that you really like.
You want to get about 20grams of protein per serving. You can put the recommended scoops in your shaker bottle before you leave in the morning, and just add water when your ready to drink.
Meal Replacement Shakes – Similar to protein shakes, but most of these come in individual packets. These packets are a more complete source of a full meal than just protein. If you goal is to get fast abs, you will probably want to start out with one of the low carb or light versions.
Again there are many different varieties to choose from, you can usually buy single packets to test them out first and see if you like them. Quick and easy, youcan mix them up in your shaker bottle or use a blender.

Wraps – Get some whole wheat or whole grain tortillas (make sure it doesn’t say”Enriched” on the ingredients list) and you can make a variety of different simple wraps. You can start with some low fat mayo or mustard, add some low fat shredded cheese, tomato, lettuce, then a low fat protein source like grilled chicken.
Make enough for a few days and put them in individual zip lock bags so that you can grab them and go.
Individual Meals – Pick a night or day of the week and cook enough food to last throughout the week. I like Sunday nights to do this because I can make enough to last me for the upcoming week.
I like to make a bunch of chicken and brown rice, and vegetables (frozen is perfectly fine and easy). You can substitute numerous different healthy foods for each but this is just one example.
Then I take a bunch of the throw away style plastic containers and divide portions of each into individual meals. I then put them in the freezer so that Ican take a few with me each day before I leave for work. By lunch time they are thawed out and ready to heat up.
Listed above are just a hand full of ideas for your meal plan for fast abs. You can take each one and mix them up a little and create different varieties to keep it interesting.

Water Bottle – I prefer the stainless steel kind, no nasty stuff leaching into your water. You want to be drinking plenty of water throughout the day, especially first thing in the morning when you wake up.
Ziplock bags – Assorted sizes, these are great for making extras and storing them individually in the fridge to grab and go. These are also good for sorting out individual servings of snacks like trail mix.
Plastic containers – Only for storing and transporting, not for cooking in -the throw away kind at the food store are perfect. Let’s say that you pick Sunday night to cook enough food for the whole week (a key tip in keeping ahead of the game for fast abs), these are great for storing individual meals in the fridge or freezer. Again, grab and go!
Pyrex containers – Assorted sizes for quick cooking in the microwave. Throughout this blog we will give you great ideas for quick easy meals you can use these to heat up.
Blender – Any kind will do, I like the stainless steel kind with a narrower base so that everything gets blended up nice and consistent. These are great if you want to add a little variety to your protein or meal replacement shakes.
Nonstick frying pan – Medium size is fine, unless your cooking for two or more, get the large size. The best option today is to get an anodized aluminum pan. Great for cooking eggs, chicken, etc…
Toaster Oven – Heats up quick and you can make a variety of good stuff using just your toaster oven. When your in a hurry…….who’s got time for the oven to preheat???
These are the basic essentials to get started with. You can get more fancy and high tech but remember to keep it simple so that you stick with it and achieve your goal of fast abs.

We have all seen them, the giant blow up exercise balls that look like a bigger version of the play balls. You know the ones that they have in the giant metal crates at Toy R Us. Yup you got those are the ones.
You need to learn about these balls if you don’t already know about them because they can be used as a major tool to getting fast abs.
An exercise ball is is made of elastic soft PVC that is usually 14 – 34inches (35 – 85 cm) around filled with air. There is a valve stem on the top of the ball that is used to increase or decrease the air pressure.
Thus making it bigger or smaller for the person using it. Exercise, physical therapy, athletic training, and even office chairs are it’s most common uses. The ball has also been called a balance ball, body ball, fitness ball, stability ball, and sports ball, among other things.
Please don’t get this one confused with a medicine ball which comes in different weights and is much smaller and heavier.
One of the main benefits of using an exercise ball is the instability it provides when using it. As opposed to working out on a hard flat surface your body must use many more muscles to keep yourself stable.
This causes your muscles to increase in strength over time to be able to stay balanced on the ball. The core of your body, abdominal muscles, obliques, and lower back muscles are impacted the most by the exercise ball. This is the part of the body that will help us reveal our fast abs.
There are tons of different exercises that can be preformed with just the ball or by adding a pair of dumbbells. You can get a complete full body workout using the exercise ball as your main piece of equipment.

A Tale Of Two Brothers Trying To Get Fast Abs

Let’s just call them Brother A and Brother B for the sake of this story. Brother A was about 28 at the time of this story and his Brother is 2 years younger than him. Summer was fast approaching and the brother’s were going to be sharing a beach house for the upcoming season.
Knowing that they would be wearing swimsuits to the beach practically everyday, they both wanted to get fast abs by the time they were ready to leave for the beach.
So Brother A who is the stubborn one of the two decides that he doesn’t need any help and he “knows” what to do to get fast abs. Brother B on the other hand likes to do a little research whenever he starts something and decides to look into it a little bit.
To make a quick note, the brothers have not been very active in the last few years and have put on their fair share of “beer and wings” weight!
Brother A proceeds to go to the local gym and sign up for a monthly membership at about $50 a month to try and get fast abs.
Brother B is not as fortunate to be making as much money as his brother and decides that he is going to have to get by working out at home to get his fast abs.
So Brother A starts going to the gym 5-6 days a week for 1-2 hours at a time. He refuses to except the complimentary training sessions that the gym offers because he already “knows what to do”.
Brother B decides to check out the internet first, do some research, and purchase a moderately priced program that shows him what to do, and how to do it.
On a side note, most of the “complimentary” training sessions that you get for free when you sign up for a gym membership are designed to just show you around the gym and get you familiar with some of the equipment. Then they try to sell you on a personal training package.
Well after 2 months of working out pretty consistently Brother A sees Brother B in his swimsuit after arriving at the beach and he can’t believe what he sees. Brother B is sporting a flat chiseled stomach and looks great.
Brother A gets mad and can’t believe that he was the one that joined a gym, killed himself 5-6 days a week for 1-2 hours at a time, and had nothing to show for it. Being a competitive brother, Brother A decides to leave his shirt on for the rest of the day.
He finally calms down a little and asks Brother B how he got his fast abs. Brother B tells him about purchasing the program off of the internet and following what it said consistently.
